Job Description

TriumpHealth is a third-party medical billing company who helps medical practices and hospitals achieve their financial goals. We are seeking a Payer Contracts Specialist to join our team at our Southlake location.

Job Responsibilities
Payer Contracts Specialist is responsible to analyze reimbursement from government, private and commercials payers, and negotiate optimal contract terms with payers. Responsibilities include financial analysis, interpretation and negotiation of contract terms, and identifying revenue enhancing opportunities for providers.

Detailed roles and responsibilities are below:

  • Review provider contracts and amendments to ensure integrity of contract terms
  • Work with commercial and private payers for better rate contracts
  • Perform reimbursement analysis, including review of payer contracts, claim denials, contract variances
  • Interpret contract terms and negotiate financially beneficial terms on behalf of the providers
  • Stay abreast of all state and federal regulation changes that affect Fee Schedule pricing
  • Effectively communicate findings including best practices and opportunities for improvements
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to identify revenue enhancement opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Graduate degree in finance, computer science, economics or similar program preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) year’s in healthcare, contract review and negotiations
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Able to learn quickly and take initiative
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Has a positive attitude
